In brief: This 20-year-old actor and singer-songwriter was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and later moved to Australia to live with his family. Troye has acted in several movies including X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Spud. He signed to EMI Music Australia in 2013. He then rose to fame after the release of his debut EP, TRXYE, which featured the international hit “Happy Little Pill.” His first album, Blue Neighbourhood, was released last December. The album reached top 10 on the US Billboard 200 and the UK Digital Albums charts. It features the smash hits “Wild,” “Talk Me Down” and “Youth.”
