Boy killed by stray bullet
Three people have been arrested in connection with the street shooting in the middle of January which killed a 15-year-old boy in Bangkok’s Saphan Sung district, police said on January 21.
Worapas Limthawisomkiat, 21, Ritthipong Chua-asa, 20, and an unidentified 18-year-old male were apprehended in Bangkok and Pathum Thani.
Banyawat Suebsamran was sitting in the front seat of his employer's pickup truck on January 11 when a stray bullet pierced the windscreen and hit him in the forehead.

Germany wins survey
Thailand is the world's 21st best country overall, according to a new US newspaper survey published on January 21.
The US News & World Report Best Countries study sampled the perceptions of more than 16,000 people in four global regions, asking them to rank 60 pre-selected countries on a range of criteria.
Six ASEAN members featured in the study, with only Singapore finishing ahead of Thailand, in 15th place overall.
The best country in the world overall was judged to be Germany.

Police arrest masseurs
Two men were arrested. It happened in Chumphon on January 20. They were arrested for luring a Lao girl into prostitution. The suspects work at a massage shop.
