The new, computer-generated 3-D comedy adventure movie Despicable Me 2 is a sequel to the popular 2010 movie, Despicable Me.
This time around, the entrepreneurial former villain Gru (Steve Carell) has left behind his life of crime in exchange for a calm life raising his adopted daughters Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier) and Agnes (Elsie Fisher).
However, just as Gru starts to adjust to his role as a suburban family man, a secret organisation dedicated to fighting evil around the globe approaches him for help. Gru soon discovers that it’s up to him and his new partner Lucy Wilde (Kristen Wiig) to find out who is responsible for a spectacular crime and bring them to justice.
