Begins again

Reflection offers direction

The Begins
Reflection
BEC Tero Music

The Begins became very successful with the release of their first album, Gold Medal. From the beginning, the band’s music was a unique and winning blend of disco and electronic sounds, with great singing and catchy melodies.

Reflection represents a new direction for The Begins. While they still maintain their unique style and high quality, the band has simplified their musical arrangements and melodies. That subtle change should make it even easier for listeners to relate to the band’s songs.

One of the album highlights is “Sing Tee Ter Kad (I Can’t),” a sad, slow song with an R&B feel and some nice guitar playing. The song also features a great saxophone part, which makes it even more interesting to listen to. Another great track on this album is “Happy Ending,” which is a medium paced song with nice lyrics about trying to see the positive side of having a broken heart.

Reflection features six new songs, along with six songs from the band’s first album, Gold Medal. In addition, there are two bonus tracks on the CD. The songs on this album are all top-quality. Fans of The Begins should get a lot of enjoyment out of Reflection. — VH
