Not Me

by Amy Pearson

When you first walked into my life
I was so happy
You just made me smile
Id do anything that you like
But after a little while

All these questions about
Where Ive been
Where Im going
Whos that calling on the phone
Whats become of
The guy I met
I just wish that
You would leave me alone

Chorus

Cause Ill be who I wanna be
And Ill see who I wanna see
I wont go changing for nobody
And Ill do what I wanna do
Screw you if you dont like it, too
I wont go changing, no, not me

I just keep on wondering why
Always comes as a surprise
That people think that they got the right
To tell me how to live my life

Too much talk about
What I wear, style my hair
Seems like its always wrong
The advice line just
Never stops
Time to tell
Everyone to step off
Just back off

(Chorus)

Aint about being right
I just go with my instinct
And I trust myself
Thats what I do
Why dont you
Keep your mind on you

(Chorus)
