The Good Husband of Zebra Drive is the eighth installment in the popular No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series by Alexander McCall Smith.

This book continues the adventures of Precious Ramotswe, the main protagonist and detective of the series, and her assortment of friends in Botswana.

This time around, Precious Ramotswe�s office has to deal with more investigations than they bargained for, with a few unexpected dilemmas thrown in for good measure.

DEADLY HOSPITAL

In The Good Husband of Zebra Drive, the detective agency is under strain and experiencing staffing problems. Despite the difficulties, the work continues to flood in.

Ramotswe is hired by one of her relatives to look into some unexplained incidents at a local hospital. People in the hospital have been dying under mysterious circumstances, and Precious and her friends experience unusual events in their investigations.

RECOMMENDED READING

If you plan to read the No. 1 Ladies� Detective Agency series, then it�s best to start with book one. The stories tend to rely on long-standing character development as the series continues.

There is something soothing about Precious Ramotswe�s adventures � they always offer slow-moving suspense and thoughtful themes.
