Robber steals millions
A lone robber on March 27 made off with more than 10 million baht from a cash delivery company while it was delivering money to an ATM machine in Chon Buri.
The heist occurred in Muang district at about 10:30 am.
A man, whose face was covered by a hood, arrived on a motorcycle, produced a gun and forced employees of the cash delivery firm to hand him bags of cash. The delivery team handed over five bags carrying a total of 10 million baht.

Man shoots dog
The Criminal Court on March 24 handed down a 14-month jail term, suspended for two years, and a 7,500-baht fine to a man who shot a dog dead in Bangkok last year.
The sentence showed leniency and reduced the original sentence from one year and eight months in jail and cut the fine from 11,000 baht, after Wicha Boonluelak, 32, admitted he shot the dog to death outside Imperial World shopping mall's Lat Prao branch on Jan 13 last year.
