Title: The Princess Diaries, A Guide to Life
Author: Meg Cabot
Price: 350 Baht
distributor: Asia Books

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to be a princess? The elegant parties, the sparkling jewels and the queues of Prince Charmings wanting your hand in marriage? According to Princess Mia, the clumsy yet loveable character in the movie The Princess Diaries, being a princess isnt as glamorous as it appears.

In Meg Cabots The Princess Diaries, A Guide to Life we learn everything we need to know about being a princess: how to act gracefully, how to look stunning and how to talk like a member of royalty.

With advice from other characters from the movie youll get an insight into how demanding being a princess actually is. The reader will soon learn that its not only manners and looks that matter, its character. And you dont have to have been a born a royal to have good character.

After a quick glimpse through the book, the reader may be left asking why they need a guide to how to be a princess. Its very unlikely that most of us would ever need to know how to address a duke or what to do at a royal charity event, but we could all learn how to be compassionate, kind and caring to everyone, even those people less fortunate than ourselves.

The overall message of the book is: be a nice person and youll certainly feel like a princess, even if you arent one. For all you Prince Charmings out there, youll just have to wait for The Prince Diaries, as this guide is certainly one for the ladies. Unless of course, you would like to know a princesss full beauty regime.
