Animated adventure blends mob comedy with cute characters

Did You Know : Ziggy Marley is the son of reggae legend Bob Marley.

Oscar (Will Smith) is a fast-talking, streetwise fish who works in a whale-wash (like a car wash but for whales) and is always dreaming big. Unfortunately, his big dreams have a habit of landing him in hot water.

When Oscar takes credit for killing a shark (who really was hit by an anchor) he becomes the Sharkslayer, the underwater citys hero. Unfortunately, the shark he claimed to have killed happened to be the son of great white mobster Don Lino (Robert DeNiro). Soon Oscar finds the shark mob hot on his fins.

FISHY FRIENDS

Lenny (Jack Black), Don Linos other son, has his own problems. Lenny is a shark with a sensitive side... and a secret hes a vegetarian. Add to that that he is no fan of the mafia lifestyle and it is no wonder that Lenny is a big disappointment to his father.

Fate pushes the finned underwater fibbers together and Oscar and Lenny soon become unlikely friends. They hatch a plan that will allow Lenny to disappear and make Oscar the feared Sharkslayer the city really needs, but when the plan works, the consequences are massive.

A DreamWorks production, Shark Tale features an all-star cast including Will Smith, Jack Black, Robert DeNiro, Renée Zellweger, Angelina Jolie, Martin Scorsese and Ziggy Marley. Catch Shark Tale in theatres from October 7.
