After releasing several albums and numerous singles since forming in 2007, popular K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation are ready to release their first greatest hits album, The Best.
This album features Girls’ Generation’s most popular songs from their various albums and singles, including Japanese versions of “Genie,” “Gee,” “Run Devil Run” and “Oh!,” since the girls are particularly popular in Japan.
Altogether, The Best includes 14 songs plus a couple of bonus tracks, including the Japanese version of “Mr.Mr.” There is also a new previously unreleased song featured called “Indestructible,” which is a ballad with a nice, smooth melody.
Now that Girls’ Generation are popular all around the world, it’s great that fans can have this collection of all their big hits. Every song on The Best has been chosen well and is sure to please fans of the group. — VH
