Directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion, Cooties is a crazy horror comedy set in an American school.
At Fort Chicken Elementary School, substitute teacher Clint Hadson (Elijah Wood) has a pleasant surprise. Stopping by the teacher’s lounge, he runs into Lucy McCormick (Alison Pill), a former classmate he was once in love with. Sadly, Lucy introduces Clint to Wade Johnson (Rainn Wilson), the school’s PE teacher and Lucy’s boyfriend. From there, it’s pretty much a wild ride downhill.
What Clint and the other teachers don’t know yet is that a virus is quickly spreading through the students. Starting from a nugget whose ingredients contain a very unhealthy dose of diseased chicken, the virus makes the children go wild.
With the students now trying to attack any adult they see, the teachers trapped in the school need a lesson plan for their survival.
