Siblings find magic in a new home

The Spiderwick Chronicles is a new fantasy adventure movie filled with suspense and action. It�s a film that reveals the hidden, magical world around us.

The story revolves around the Grace family � Jared and his twin brother Simon (both played by Freddie Highmore), their sister Mallory (Sarah Bolger) and their mother Helen (Mary-Louise Parker) � who leave their home in New York to move to a secluded old house owned by their distant relative Arthur Spiderwick (David Strathairn).

Within days of the Grace�s moving into their new house, peculiar accidents and incidents begin to happen on a daily basis. Unable to explain these strange occurrences, the siblings investigate and uncover the extraordinary truth of the Spiderwick estate and the creatures that inhabit it.

When the family comes face to face with these magical and sometimes scary creatures, they are forced to test themselves, overcome their family conflicts and help each other.
