This weeks conversation is all about Songkran and the news story featured above. Na and Pim are talking about the festival and both have very different views. Read the conversation with a friend or by yourself and try to fill in the missing sentences. There are no right or wrong answers, but you should be able to get ideas from the context.

Na:      Hey Pim, what are you doing for Songkran this year? My friends and I are going down to Rayong to party. Weve got our water guns, flour and well probably rent some motorcycles for some wicked water fights.

Pim:     ............................................................................................................................ (1)

Na:      Youre joking, right? Going all the way up there just for some religious festival?

Pim:     ............................................................................................................................ (2)

Na:      Really, that many? I thought the number of accidents was falling. But anyway, were careful and we dont drink.

Pim: ............................................................................................................................ (3)

Pim: OK, OK, youve made your point. But youre going to join in with the water fights, surely? Its the best time of the year up there.

Na:      Yeah, Ill join in, but I wanna do my bit to make sure that there arent any accidents so Im going to be careful this year. Havent you heard about the Concentrate before Starting the Engine campaign?

Pim:     ............................................................................................................................ (4)

Na:      Yeah, thats the one. OK, so it might not be cool to be careful, but better that than end up dead or killing someone.
