TV preview Jungle journeyAdventure show looks to blaze new ground in the world of Thai soaps Preview by Nuttaya Muneerat, Photographs courtesy of ExacT Did you Know? The Amazon rainforest in South America is the worlds largest jungle.
The story does have a love story between the two main characters, but along the way to the predictable happy ending the show takes viewers on quite an adventure. The story begins when Yotin (Suchao Phongwilai) heads to a mysterious jungle, the Muang Buddha, where his wife, who is an archeologist, disappeared many years ago. But after he is gone, Yotins relatives, a bit of a greedy lot, decide that he too is as good as dead and decide to divide his assets. But his daughter, Cherprang (Janesuda Parnto), isnt having any of that and heads off to find her father and prove he is alive. Joining Cherprang is the woodsman Baramee (Khongkapan Sangsuriya), who suggests that she also invites fellow woodsman Sing (Saksit Tangthong) to lead the expedition. At first Sing refuses to join, knowing it will be a dangerous trek, but in the end he decides the lure of unraveling the jungles mysteries is too great to pass up.
The hunt for the fortune is on as the trekkers have to deal with the invisible spirits protecting the jungle and the very visible greed of those on the prowl for purely financial reasons.
