Did you know
Rain was included in Time magazine's 2011 list of the 100 most influential people of the year.
It had been a few years since Korean superstar Rain performed in Thailand, but the 28-year-old superstar had no trouble drawing a big crowd to his recent Rain Asia Tour concert at Impact Arena. As usual, Rain impressed the fans with his smooth singing and energetic dance moves.
CASUAL CONCERT
The concert opened with a special laser light show as Rain sang his dance hits, "I'm Coming," "Touch Ya" and "You."
Throughout the two-hour concert, Rain communicated with his fans with his fluent English. The show had a very casual feel, with Rain even changing his gear onstage. At one point, he also allowed a camera to follow him into his dressing room backstage.
SWEET SONG
One of the show's highlights was when Rain picked a female fan to join him onstage. The lucky girl had a chance to listen to Rain sing his sweet song, "My Girl," up close. Rain also gave her a huge bear doll, a bouquet and a video tape that he recorded while she was onstage, making every other girl at Impact Arena jealous.
HOT HITS
The audience had a lot of fun hearing hits like "Hip Song," "Love Song," "Rainism" and "It's Raining." The female fans were also excited to see Rain's famous six-pack, which he showed off while singing "Nan" in a shower of artificial rain.
JUMPING JOINT
Before leaving the stage, a monitor displayed pictures of Rain throughout his years in showbiz, showing his progression from rookie singer to Hollywood superstar. The crowd was touched to see Rain's message on the monitor thanking his fans. He also promised to remember every second of the concert, and to never forget the support that his fans have given him.
Rain ended the show with his upbeat hit "Jump Jump Jump," which had all the fans jumping along with him before going home happy.
