After a year in hospital, Jake has trouble taking Katie back.
Twenty-five years later, Katie is a smart psychologist who starts dating Cameron (Aaron Paul), an aspiring novelist. As the relationship suffers, Katie has to look to her past and her difficult relationship with her father.
