In 1983, Apocalypse is set free after being locked up for thousands of years. Angry that monsters like him are no longer treated as gods, Apocalypse gathers a team of powerful mutants, including Magneto, to destroy humankind and create a new world under his control. To end Apocalypse's path of global destruction, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) and Professor X (James McAvoy) lead a team of young X-Men in an epic battle with a seemingly unstoppable enemy.
