Taxi drivers turn on the meter
Taxi drivers on Koh Samui have found a way to avoid arguments with passengers by simply switching on their meters.

Our passengers are satisfied because they know that they are all charged the same rate, Sinchai Jitmung, spokesman of the Koh Samui Taxi Meter Operators Association, said.
