Following on from last year’s mini album Name is 4Minute, sweet and sexy South Korean girl group 4Minute recently returned with their new EP, 4Minute World.
This new release features five fabulous songs, including the outstanding tracks “I’ll Teach You” and “Come In.” The latter song is an awesome collaboration between Hyuna and Gayoon, beginning with a slow melody that creates a mature atmosphere.
The song also features lyrics that are seductive enough to get it banned by South Korea television and radio network SBS.
“Whatcha Doin’ Today” is a popular track that comes with a video featuring sexy choreography and colourful outfits. 4Minute’s strong rapping also makes the song stand out. Another highlight of the EP is the opening track, “Wait a Minute,” which has cute lyrics about cooking delicious food and music that blends R&B with hip-hop.
The final track on 4Minute World, “Thank You,” is a slow, easy-listening song with the singers harmonising sweetly over an acoustic guitar.
4Minute World is worth a listen for K-pop fans. The girls have done an excellent job throughout the EP with their singing and dancing. Fans of 4Minute definitely shouldn’t miss out. — HN
