Based on a true story, Grace of Monaco is a film about a pivotal time in the life of Hollywood star Grace Kelly.
At the peak of stardom, Grace Kelly (Nicole Kidman) left a successful career as a Hollywood actress to marry Prince Rainier of Monaco (Tim Roth) in 1956. Six years later, faced with a crisis that threatened Monaco and her marriage, famed director Alfred Hitchcock (Roger Ashton-Griffiths) offers her the chance to return to Hollywood for the starring role in his next film, Marnie.
Grace has to make a big decision whether to choose the life she thought she always wanted, or embrace the role of the woman she has now become — Her Serene Highness, The Princess of Monaco.
