Institute fails exam cheat

The National Institute of Educational Testing Service has failed a 12th-grader caught cheating in the O-NET tests. Institute chairman Sangob Laksana announced the decision on March 7.

The student was caught cheating using a mobile-phone wristwatch after having sat for five exams. The institutes fact-finding team believe that the student may have cheated on more than one exam and that he did not do it alone.

The student refused to reveal any information about the people who helped him to cheat. Sangob said that the fact-finding team and police are trying to trace those involved in the scam.

Spaghetti and American fried rice will be added to the armys menu to satisfy soldiers taste buds when they go on missions, reports said on March 6.

It is hoped that the new dishes will make an exciting change to the current selection of Thai dishes.

However, some officials are doubtful that the Western food will be popular among the soldiers, who might be more familiar with spicy Thai dishes.
