Veteran actress Demi Moore and teen sensation Miley Cyrus star in the new coming-of-age comedy LOL, based on a 2008 French film with the same title.
Lola (Cyrus) and her friends are typical teens trying to navigate the peer pressures of high school romance and friendships with the use of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and all the other current online essentials. Lola’s group of close friends includes Kyle (Douglas Booth), Janice (Lina Esco), Emily (Ashley Hinshaw) and Ashley (Ashley Greene).
At the same time as learning about their own relationships, the teens have to deal with their sometimes overbearing and technologically bewildered parents.
With hilarious and heartfelt moments between Lola and her mother (Moore), LOL presents an authentic story that perfectly captures the lives of a group of typical, modern teenagers.
