The Star 6 singing contest has finished and the eight winners are already in the shops with their joint album, The Star 6. Every track on the album is a new song composed by a team skillful songwriters and producers. Each song also seems to be tailor-made to suit the style and personality of each singer.

The Star 6 features 10 songs, including the recent hit "Ra Ya Tam Jai (Get Over Period)," performed by series champion Gun. The song's slow pop style utilises Gun's cool, skillful singing voice well. Another highlight is Zen's "Pim Kam Rak Mai Kla Song (Don't Dare Send Your Love by SMS)," which has a nice melody and lyrics that teens should be able to relate to.

Most of the songs on The Star 6 stick to an easy listening pop style, with some dance beats and K-pop flavours mixed in to liven it up. Fans of The Star contest should be very satisfied with this album. - VH
