Random thoughts about heading back to school

With the summer holidays over, the morning alarm bell announcing the first day of school can be a rude awakening. Thats when reality really hits its time to grab your books and return to class.

Whether youre an anxious new freshman or a confident senior, heading back to school is a part of life. Love it or hate it, youve got to go to school.

And while some people dread that first day of school, others cant wait.

Heres a look at what some of you had to say about the new school term.

Before the first day of school, I pack my bag with new pens, notebooks, a talking dictionary and, of course, books! It always feels so exciting to start a school year with new supplies! I also make sure I go to bed early so Im alert and focused in the morning.

Nattha Wannissorn, 16, student

Theres a lot planned for this year. Ive got a lot of research to finish this year. Its going to be quite an eventful one.

Karn Suviwattanachai, 24college student

My plan is to take advantage of the new term! Its best to get organised from the first day, so when things get hectic later on, youll be prepared.

Nujjarin Winsukhol, 20 college student

I remember that most of my first day experiences at school werent easy at all. There are so many forms to fill out and also many questions. I remember me and my friends kept pestering other girls in the class to do it for us.

Noppachai Vibulkiat, 25, actor

My advice to all the students for this coming term is to remember that great power always comes with great responsibility.

Santhi jitmoongrian, 28, musician

I always found myself worrying about the first day of classes until I got there and felt too excited. Theres something reaffirming about sitting in class that first day. Its kind of like taking your first bite of a hamburger. After that you might be really sick of it and ready for a sandwich or a cookie. I hope this term will be tastier than the last one.

Nuttaporn Hataiyong, 21, college student

First day of school? I guess it would be the same same place, same friends and same teachers. I just want to graduate so badly.

Danai Pimjatukham, 17, student

Im so excited to see many of my friends after a long break. Im pretty sure that most of my friends will grow long hair to impress the girls in school. But I bet they can only hide it from the teachers for one week.

Jedtsada Triyawatanyu, 16, student
