Missing money
Woman angry at lack of action
A businesswoman is unhappy that money stolen from her bags at Suvarnabhumi Airport has still not been recovered three months after the incident.
Charoenrat Cheewapawat, 63, renewed her complaint on June 11 with the Crime Suppression Division after about 105,000 baht in cash kept inside her luggage was stolen at the airport on March 4.
Charoenrat said that she asked to see footage from security cameras, but that the AoT rejected her request.

Ministry to promote good games
The Culture Ministry is being urged to promote serious computer games as an alternative to the violent variety.
National Institute for Child and Family Development official Itthipon Pritiprasong said that they should promote games that are designed to teach as well as entertain - games about doctors, farming, running a business and promoting peace.
Itthipon said that educational games have been around for years, but that they are usually unpopular because many young people find the games boring to play.

Ministry to fund films
The Culture Ministry will provide money for two more films in the King Naresuan the Great series. They announced the news on June 10. The ministry will provide 480 million baht for the films.
The ministry wants the films to be finished in time for His Majesty the King's birthday on December 5.
New name
