I have to admit that the first time I saw Daniel Kublbock's "You Drive Me Crazy" music video, I had to do a double take. I wasn't sure if the singer was male or female. Long wispy hair and full red lips made it impossible to tell from a distance. A closer look revealed that Germany's latest star, Daniel K, was in fact male � especially the scene where he is running around naked!

Daniel K is bursting with energy, which may account for the name of his debut album Positive Energy. His first single "You Drive Me Crazy" has a 60s feel and is about everyone's favourite topic: love. The singer is so in love, the girl of his dreams is driving him crazy.

Dumped

The singer starts the song in his native language, German and then goes on to English. He says that the couple has been through good and bad times together and now its time for the music.

It would seem that the couple has hit upon some hard times, as the singer says that he's never going to give her up. This would indicate that they have split or broken up, but that the singer doesn't want this to happen. He pleads with her for another try at being together. "Oh be my little lady, come and let us try a start," the singer begs.

He insists that nobody will love her like he does and that he's sure they can make it work if she will only come back.

Give it up

The singer really misses his ex-girlfriend and wants to meet her again. He can't stand the fact that their relationship is over. He refuses to let her go and demands that she comes back for good. He doesn't want to hear his girlfriend say that she might come back � he wants her back for certain.

As time goes by, his feelings for her get stronger and stronger. "I love you more and more and more," he pleads. He says that she can't ignore his love because it is so strong. He wants her to listen to her own heart and that if she did, she would come back to him.

He believes deep down that they can make their relationship work. What the singer fails to realise is that maybe his ex-girlfriend is listening to her heart and it's telling her to leave him. Breaking up is always difficult for both people. The guy needs to come to terms with the fact that his ex-girlfriend has decided to break up and move on with her life without him. It might be hard to him to accept that the relationship is over, but he needs to learn how to cope and move on with his life. A person can't stay in a relationship just because the other person needs and loves them. Everyone has the right to follow their own heart and do what's right for them. The singer needs to accept her decision and her right to leave him.

By telling her that that he loves her more and more, the singer is using emotional blackmail to make the girl feel guilty about leaving him. She might not be able to ignore his love, but he shouldn't ignore her feelings and desire to leave him. The two need to sit down and talk through their feelings so that both are clear about how the other person feels. If she really doesn't love him, the singer needs to respect this and let her go without making her feel bad.
