In brief: R. City, or Rock City, are an American musical duo who formed in 2003. Born in Saint Thomas, US Virgin Islands, the duo are brothers Theron and Timothy Thomas. They are music producers, singers and songwriters who have written many hit songs for popular artists such as Nicki Minaj’s “Only,” Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop,” Rihanna’s “Pour It Up” and Sean Kingston’s “Take You There.” R. City recently rose to international fame after they released the smash hit “Locked Away,” which features Adam Levine.
