Band returns with an upbeat track
So-Me-Day
“Ter Kue Krai (Who Are You)”
Do A Dot
So-Me-Day are pop-rock band consisting of five members. The band won an award at the Chang Music Contest back in 2012. Some listeners may already be familiar with the group from their first single, “Kwam Wai Jai (Trust),” which was a slow, sad ballad with nice lyrics and a catchy melody.
“Ter Kue Krai (Who Are You)” is So-Me-Day’s second single, and it’s in more of an up-tempo, pop-rock style than their previous release. Synthesiser and guitar sounds dominate this track, making it sound colourful and interesting.
The lyrics of “Who Are You” are about meeting somebody that you’d like to get to know intimately. While it’s quite a simple song, the melody is catchy and the lyrics use some playful rhymes.
“Who Are You” has a good musical arrangement and a distinctive sound that should attract plenty of listeners. So-Me-Day are shaping up to be an interesting new local band. — VH
