In the new action-packed disaster thriller, San Andreas, director Brad Peyton brings a devastating earthquake scenario to the big screen.
An infamous fault line known as the San Andreas Fault triggers a massive magnitude 9 earthquake in California. During the disaster, Los Angeles Fire Department rescue-helicopter pilot Ray Gaines (Dwayne Johnson) and his ex-wife, Emma (Carla Gugino), attempt to leave Los Angeles and head to San Francisco to find and rescue their estranged daughter, Blake (Alexandra Daddario).
Ray and Emma begin their treacherous journey north thinking that the worst may be over, however they soon find out that there is much more disaster and devastation to come.
