This week's entertainment topics are...

Badder than ever
Martin Lawrence and Will Smith are back and badder than ever, reuniting with producer Jerry Bruckheimer (Black Hawk Down, Gone in Sixty Seconds) for another action adventure in Bad Boys II. The danger level is bigger and so are the laughs in this new instalment as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) become part of a high-tech team that must stop the flow of drugs into Miami.

Hot gossip : Not-so-young guns
Famous for playing gun-toting violent mafia types, actors Robert De Niro and Harvey Keitel are licensed to carry a gun according to New York police records. Radio host Howard Stern is also allowed to pack a pistol although action movie star Steven Seagal's application was rejected. Seagal, who has been filming Belly of the Beast in Thailand, has alleged mafia connections. It has even been suggested on the Internet that the famously bad actor may be an undercover hitman.

TV review : Ladies night
Too exhausted to read a woman magazine? Then why not just sit down, grab your remote control and tune in to iTV at 10:30 p.m. every Thursday. There you can enjoy Ann & Nut Mai Jamkud (Ann & Nut Unlimited).

Book review : It's a girl thing
Unlike the fourth part of other movie sequels, the book Princess in Waiting, or The Princess Diaries Volume IV, is still interesting and enjoyable.

Music review : Sounds of the Screen
If you can't decide what hip-hop star's latest album you want to buy, you might want to check out this all-star soundtrack. All the big guns from today's scene make appearances. P. Diddy (aka Puff Daddy, aka Sean Combs) is the executive producer of the album and along with making appearances on several tracks, he has lined up the services of the likes of Nelly, Jay-Z, 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg.

On screen : Movies and DVDs coming your way
Drama/Musical: LAUREL CANYON (August 29, 2003) Laurel Canyon is a street that runs through Hollywood Hills. Among its residents are Jane, a record producer making an album with a British band whose lead singer is her much younger lover. Then Janes quiet son and his fiancée Alex (Kate Beckinsale) come to stay. A complex and emotional love story.
