Badder than ever
Martin Lawrence and Will Smith are back and badder than ever, reuniting
with producer Jerry Bruckheimer (Black Hawk Down, Gone in
Sixty Seconds) for another action adventure in Bad Boys II.
The danger level is bigger and so are the laughs in this new instalment
as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence)
become part of a high-tech team that must stop the flow of drugs into
Miami.
Hot gossip : Not-so-young guns
Famous for playing gun-toting violent mafia types, actors Robert De
Niro and Harvey Keitel are licensed to carry a gun according to New
York police records. Radio host Howard Stern is also allowed to pack
a pistol although action movie star Steven Seagal's application was
rejected. Seagal, who has been filming Belly of the Beast in
Thailand, has alleged mafia connections. It has even been suggested
on the Internet that the famously bad actor may be an undercover hitman.
