In their latest single, �When I Grow Up,� The Pussycat Dolls are proud of the fact that they�ve become famous. They always wanted to be stars, and now that they�ve grown up, their dreams have come true.

In brief: Dance choreographer Robin Antin founded the Pussycat Dolls in the early �90s. The group started out practising in actress Christina Applegate�s Los Angeles garage. Applegate suggested that the group perform at popular LA nightclub, the Viper Room. Then-owner Johnny Depp was impressed, and the group had a residency there from 1995 to 2001. The Pussycat Dolls are renowned for their dance routines. The list of famous guests who have taken part in their dance shows include Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Nikka Costa and Paris Hilton. Since the release of PCD, the Pussycat Dolls have become one of the most popular girl groups in the world.
