Did You Know : In the19th century, the cannibal tribe Ratu Udre Udre in Fiji ate between 872 and 999 people.

Born in China in 1927, life was tough for young Zee-Oui (Duang Long). Smaller than most children his age, Zee-Oui was constantly bullied by other children, even his brothers.

Eager to find a way to end the torment, Zee-Oui was all too happy to take follow the startling advice of an old man: Zee-Oui should eat human flesh, livers and hearts, so that he will have the power to fight back.

Soon, Zee-Oui started a chilling spiral out of control as he began killing animals and household pets and eating their body parts. The worst , however, was yet to come.

SIAM STALKER

At the age of 18 and at the height of World War II, Zee-Oui joined the military. Facing starvation and great hardship, Zee-Oui took to boiling and eating the entrails of his dead military buddies.

Following the war, Zee-Oui found work on an international vessel and eventually snuck off to Thailand.

As an illegal immigrant, Zee-Oui started his life in Thailand as a labourer and moved around from Prachuap Khiri Khan to Bangkok. As an alien in a foreign land, Zee-Oui was once again an easy victim for those looking to bully somebody.

Feeling he had been insulted and taken advantage of for far too long, Zee-Oui finally snapped and gave in to his cannibal ways.

Zee-Oui was eventually arrested for the murder of seven children, some of whom were missing their entrails. Zee-Oui finally confessed to the murders, saying he had killed the children and eaten their livers in an attempt to grow strong.

Zee-Oui the cannibal was finally executed in 1959. His stuffed body is still on display at Siriraj Hospital.

Catch the chilling details behind this true story when Zee-Oui hits theatres on October 28.
