Mr Bean starts another series of unfortunate events

Mr Bean (Rowan Atkinson), who began life on British television screens in 1990, has become a worldwide star thanks to his unique mix of slapstick comedy and a lovable personality.

The series sold around the globe, inspiring co-writers Rowan Atkinson and Richard Curtis to create the feature film Bean. Following the huge international success of the first Bean movie, it was only a matter of time before the films creators decided to give the character a second big-screen outing.

Mr Beans Holiday follows the further zany adventures of the bumbling everyman as he heads to France for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Cannes Film Festival.

In true Mr Bean fashion, an unexpected series of events, including run-ins with a famous film director and his son, an uncooperative chicken and a countrywide manhunt, end with the half-witted hero taking the film festival by storm.

The hilarity of Mr Beans Holiday hits theatres on March 29.
