Student Weekly and Eversense Miss Young Personality Contest

Think you've got a winning personality?

Outgoing, quick to make friends, full of fun and laughter does this sound like you? If so, enter now!

Student Weekly in co-operation with Bio Consumer Co., Ltd, producer of Eversense, is once again searching Thailand for two Miss Young Personalities. If you are a secondary or higher secondary student, you can join this challenging and exciting contest. This contest is exclusively designed for female students, but male students, please dont feel left out! You can support your girlfriend by encouraging her to participate - and share the winnings.

Categories

The contest is divided into two categories: secondary level for Matayom 1 to Matayom 3 students, and higher secondary level for Matayom 4 to Matayom 6 students.

Rules

It is easy to join this contest. This is not 'Student of the Year', so wed like to take things easy. Just write us a letter in English telling us about yourself and why you think you deserve to be our Miss Young Personality 2003. That's all there is to it!

Dont be shy. Tell us what interests you and what youre good at doing. Tell us about your friends, family, plans and ambitions. Dont forget to give us your age, address and/or telephone number, and the name of your school. Your letter must be typed or written clearly in English and should not be longer than two A4 pages.

Entries should be accompanied by at least one photo. It should not be an ID photo, but a picture that shows you at your liveliest. Remember, presentation and the way you write must be as attractive and convincing as possible.

The judges will consist of a panel of qualified people and a senior representative from Student Weekly. Their decision will be final.

Good luck - and start working on your letter now!

How to enter

All entries must be submitted to the Editor (Miss Young Personality Contest, Matayom 1 to Matayom 3/ Matayom 4 to Matayom 6). Student Weekly, Bangkok Post Building, 136 Na Ranong Road, Klong Toey, Bangkok 10110. Make sure you tell us exactly which category you are entering.

All entries must be received by September 30. Five shortlisted candidates in each category will be announced in Student Weekly in November, with the final winners announced at a presentation ceremony in December.

Cash prizes!

The winner in each category will receive a cash award of 12,000 baht. The first and second runners up will receive a cash award of 8,000 and 6,000 baht each. In addition, there are two consolation prizes and each is worth 4,000 baht. All the winners will also receive gifts from Eversense and certificates from Student Weekly.
