With Chronicle, 27-year-old Josh Trank became the youngest director in history to top the UK box office.

From first time director Josh Trank comes Chronicle, an exciting new science fiction film that puts an original spin on the current trend of "found footage" films.

Andrew (Dane DeHaan), Matt (Alex Russell) and Steve (Michael B. Jordan) are ordinary teenagers, each with a distinctive personality and each facing the usual challenges that come with being in high school, forming friendships and exploring their ever-changing lives.

One day, the trio discovers something strange in the nearby woods that appears to be beyond their understanding. Their discovery causes them to acquire strange new powers. The three friends soon realise that they're able to move objects just by thinking about them, crush and destroy things with their minds and even fly.

After a few weeks of fun with their new superpowers, things get dark when Andrew starts to use his power to deal with his perceived enemies at school and at home. Andrew's misuse of power eventually leads to a confrontation between him and Steve, inadvertently causing Steve to be struck down by lightening.

As the situation races toward a dramatic climax, Matt finds himself in a race against time to help Andrew and to stop him from wreaking havoc in their city.

Catch the unique action and drama when Chronicle hits cinemas on March 1.
