Letter of the week

MOUNTAIN MAGIC Hello, I'm Earn. I have come across many things that surprised me. One day I went to Khao Kho in Phetchabun. I went with my family on this very long journey. I slept all the way and when I woke up, I saw something that I'd never seen before. I was fog covering the mountains. I was a different type of nature to what I'd seen in Bangkok. When I got out of the car, I found that the air was also different to Bangkok air. There was a nice cool breeze. When we arrived at Khao Kho, I went and stood on the balcony and felt the wind hit my face. It made me feel good. It's a good place to go during winter or for a long weekend. Tanatchaya Munmana, Nonthaburi It feels good to get out of the city every now and then, doesn't it Earn? Heading up to the mountains of Phetchabun sounds like a great idea for some cool, fresh air and nice natural scenery. FUNNY FELINE

I'm Kamonchanok, a 17-year-old student. I want to tell you about the Scottish Fold cat.

If you want to have a cute cat, I recommend the Scottish Fold cat. There is a famous Scottish Fold cat in Japan called Maru. He has become popular on YouTube. He loves boxes and likes to wear them. It's funny and cute. Maru was born in May 24, 2007. He is very chubby. I want to hug him.

Scottish Fold cats have straight ears, soft voices and are medium sized. If you decide to buy a cat, you should care for it and give it a good life.

I like cats too, Kamonchanok. Right now I live in a flat about the size of a shoe box in a big block of other shoe boxes, so it's not very cat friendly. But if I'm ever in a position to get a cat, I'll definitely consider a Scottish Fold cat on your recommendation. I'll have to check out some of those Maru videos, too. — Editor

SEA SCENE

Hello, I'm Rata and I'm 17 years old. I want to talk about Lan Island.

I went to Lan Island last year. It is a beautiful place with a white sand beach. The sea there is really fantastic! I'd never seen such a beautiful place before. I played in the water with my family and rode a banana boat. It was really fun. I also went to Lan Market. They also had a 7-Eleven that was full of people.

I was a really fun trip. If I have the opportunity, I want to go there again.

Reading your letter makes me think about how long it has been since I've been to a beach, Rata. I don't know how long that is exactly, but I know it's definitely too long. Lan Island looks like a location where I could happily rectify that situation. — Editor
