Superhero saves the world

Iron Man is a new action-packed adventure movie that brings to life another famous comic book hero.

It�s the story of billionaire and genius military inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr), whose carefree life is changed forever when his industrial convoy is attacked during a weapons test. Tony is kidnapped by insurgents who order him to build them a devastating weapon.

Iron Man fist appeared in the American comic book series Tales of Suspense in 1963.

Ignoring their orders, Tony builds himself an almost indestructible suit of armour, which allows him to escape his captors.

Upon returning home, Tony works on further developing his powerful armour. At the same time, with the help of his longtime assistant Pepper Pots (Gwyneth Paltrow), he discovers a nefarious plot that threatens the entire planet.

Donning his powerful new red and gold armour, Tony vows to protect the world and fight injustice as his new alter-ego, Iron Man.
