Miku VS Digimon Part1
Hi Mr.TO is back to see you again.
After 2 weeks break, let go back to PSP console again. This week, I'll be reviewing Dragon 2020, which I just played and cleared.
Dragon 2020 is a game from Sega Company, who also published Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Extend that I reviewed previously.
This game's story resides in year 2020, which a bizarre incident happened that unusual flowers and monsters appeared in a tower in Japan. And you have been assigned by your superior (in this game) to inspect the scene. Your end goal is to defeat 666 dragons, which resides in this tower.
The game has 10 character styles and 5 classes for you to choose from. You can create more than 10 characters (I create 6, which was plenty for me).
The game has classic style system similar to DQ (Dragon Quest) and FF (Final Fantasy). But you will not see the roaming monsters, except for bosses. Your characters will be able to collect ‘exhaust skill’, which you can fill up to unleash extra strong skill.
Battle scenes are shown in 1st person view but you’ll see actions when you attack and use special skills.
The strong point of this game is with its difficulty, which is pretty high. And the monsters do not hesitate to besiege you.
You’ll be able to switch jobs, though you have to be at least level 30. For example, I’d been using a level 60 ‘hacker’ but found it difficult to use, so I changed it to a ‘trickster’ instead and by doing this your character’s level will be halved but you’ll get statistic bonus points when doing so.
Because you’ll be mostly fighting your way in this bizarre tower, if you ever get stuck, you can simply use points gathered from killing dragons to unlock part of the tower those were lock in the first place to find new paths to get through or simply take a small rest or gather more experience from fighting monsters.
There’re some flows in this game, such as encountering some low frame rate is one thing. The other thing is that when you’ve finished the story you’re done for, there’re no extra content after the initial ending.
In the next issue, I’ll be continuing on how to collect exhaust skill points and more about classes.
