City Hall urged to build bridge

City Hall has been urged to build a permanent pedestrian bridge near Wutthakat skytrain station.

Bangkok Mass Transit System, the skytrain operator, has been accused of using the lack of a pedestrian bridge to make money by not allowing free passage for those who need to cross the canal, according to Nirunde Praditkul, chairman of the city council’s subcommittee on public works and city planning.
