The movie takes us to Bird Island, a beautiful place populated entirely by happy, flightless birds — or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis), a bird who is unhappy and lives alone, fast-talking Chuck (Josh Gad), and the not-very-clever Bomb (Danny McBride) have always been outsiders. They meet together in a group where they discuss how to be less angry.
Soon their island is visited by mysterious green pigs, led by Leonard (Bill Hader), who start trying to steal all the bird's eggs. It's up to the unlikely gang of angry birds to figure out what the pigs are up to and protect Bird Island's eggs.
Catch the fun when Angry Birds opens on May 12.
