Did you know

Four would like to be a DJ and an MC.

Every guy appreciates having a pretty and honest girlfriend, but it can become boring if she’s predictable. Recently, the former member of pop duo Four Mod, Sakonrut Woraurai (Four), plays a girlfriend who doesn’t want to change her routine in the TV series, Club Friday the Series 7: Khon Khee Buea Thee Rak Thoe (Boring Girl Who Loves You).

The show tells the story of Prik (Four) and Tul (Sean Jindachot) who’ve been together for five years. Their relationship seems stable since they don’t have arguments. But after going to the same restaurant and cinema for five years, Tul is tired of the predictable routine and wants to break up with Prik. Before making a decision, he calls the radio programme Club Friday for advice.

Student Weekly met up with 29-year-old Four at GMM 25 when she met the press to promote Club Friday. The singer-turned-actress told us about her character and her acting career so far.

Student Weekly: Do you plan to release a single or sing on the soundtrack of Club Friday?

Four: I was contacted about doing a single, but I want to be an actress. I’m not ready to do a single. I want to act and my acting schedule is packed.

Student Weekly: Do you prefer acting to singing?

Four: I’ve loved acting since I was very young and I entered showbiz to be an actress. But I had an opportunity to sing, so I accepted that.

Student Weekly: Have you watched Club Friday before?

Four: Yes, because my sister recommended it. She told me it was fun. The first episode I watched was a controversial one about a mother that stole her daughter’s husband. I was stunned and wondered how a person could do something like that. I also watched an episode featuring singer Gybzy Wanida because I’m close to her. After that, I watched more episodes on YouTube. It’s entertaining.

Student Weekly: What are the differences between the two characters you recently played?

Four: Prik and Mee-L are similar to me. Prik notices things in detail and tries to hide her true feelings. She tries to make her boyfriend comfortable. Unlike Prik, Mee-L in Bake Me Love on Channel One likes challenges and trying new things.

Student Weekly: Do you follow a regular routine like Prik?

Four: I’m not boring like her. Prik has done the same things for five years, so her boyfriend is bored of her. I like to go to the same place for a while but then I’ll search for new venues and ask a group of friends and my boyfriend to go with me because I don’t know what to order or what I should try.

Student Weekly: What advice would you give somebody like Prik?

Four: I understand her feelings, but five years is too long in the same routine. I would tell her boyfriend to gradually change her schedule.

Student Weekly: Would you like to work in a bakery since both Prik and Mee-L bake?

Four: No. I like desserts, but don’t like any messy or sticky things. When there is a lot of butter, I think it’s too greasy.

Student Weekly: Did you enjoy working with Sean?

Four: Sean is great at acting and he isn’t difficult to work with. I told him to give me some time if I can’t remember my script. He told me not to worry and if there is anything he can help me with, he would. After we were comfortable with each other, we sometimes chatted until we forgot our scripts.

Student Weekly: What was most difficult about playing Prik?

Four: The dramatic scenes were difficult. I’d never done a serious scene as I usually play lively characters. In a crying scene, I did my best and Sean helped.

Student Weekly: How do you stay slim?

Four: I don’t gain weight easily. When I’m busy, I don’t feel like eating. I also play golf and do rock-climbing at the gym. I could reach the top of the climbing wall when I first tried.

Student Weekly: Do you have any message to viewers?

Four: I did my best on this show. Please follow this drama and my upcoming series.
