April 22 to May 19
SF World Cinemas in Bangkok, Surat Thani, Khon Kaen and Chiang Mai
The Ministry of Culture, the National Federation of Motion Pictures and Contents Association and SF Cinema have once again arranged the Bangkok ASEAN Film Festival. This year, the festival will feature 10 interesting movies from 10 different countries.
Aside from recent films, three classic movies — Cambodia's The Snake Man (1970), Indonesia's After the Curfew (1954) and the Philippines' Manila in the Claws of Light (1975) — will also be screened at the event. Every movie will be shown with Thai and English subtitles.
Aside from the Bangkok screenings at SF World Cinema Central World from April 22 to 26, the festival will be held in other three regions in Thailand. From April 29 to May 4, the movies will be screened at SF Cinema Central Plaza Surat Thani. From May 7 to May 12, the films will be shown at SF Cinema Central Plaza Khon Kaen. Chiang Mai film fans can experience the festival from May 13 to 19 at SF Cinema Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center in Chiang Mai.
The tickets will be available 30 minutes before screening times free of charge at an information desk in front of the cinemas. Each person can get only one ticket. For more information, please call SF Call Center at 02 268 8888 or go to http://www.facebook.com/welovesf.
