Read the following story by Napamon Roongwitoo from the Bangkok Post. Then, answer the questions that follow.
Most schools in Thailand have strict rules about hair, which is good because you don’t need to come up with new ideas every day, and bad because it’s rather boring. Summer vacation is the perfect time to have fun with your hair. These adorable hairstyles from Central Kids Runway 2015 add a fresh twist to a total look.
One-sided braid
Many schools have a mandatory rule that girls have two braids. But be rebellious by having just one, and letting the other side of the hair flow naturally. This hairdo is great for young girls and adults, as it doesn’t look too girly.
Bun and headband
Buns aren’t just for grannies and flight attendants. Youngsters can sport them and avoid looking too grown up by adding an amusing headband. What’s great about this hairdo is that it stays in shape, day and night. Want to be extra chic? Get a headband that matches your outfit.
Tousled double buns
While this hairdo might remind you of Chun Li from the Street Fighter video game, don’t assume that it’s obsolete. Miley Cyrus wore a double bun to the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, as did Gwen Stefani, Rita Ora and Vanessa Hudgens. This adorable hairdo is more interesting when it’s a bit messy and tousled.
High double-sided ponytails
Double-sided ponytails look good on any girl, as they give off a sense of innocence and girlishness. For adults, however, it looks better if ponytails are not sticking out by the ears, which can make you look more like a bicycle with handlebars. Keep the ponytails towards the back, about two inches from your ears. Curl the ends for added glamour.
