Did you know
The movie was filmed on a real ship.
The new movie, Mon Son Pi (Ghost Ship), is about a group of ethnic Mon guys who encounter ghostly chaos on their fishing boat. One of the crew’s superstitions is to not allow a woman on board their boat because it will cause bad luck. Unfortunately, the three sailors — Gala (James Puwadon), Yola (Fluke Pongsatorn) and Soluis (Dharmthai Plangsilp) — find a female corpse in a wooden trunk.
The dead woman is Mia (Nonnie Nutcha), the pretty wife of a gangster, Tao (Thaitanium's Day), who was having a secret affair with the ship’s captain, Nick (Sean Jindachot). To avoid being accused of the murder, the three sailors agree to hide the corpse on the boat and not tell their captain. However, after they find that the corpse has disappeared, ghosts start to terrorise the crew.
See how the crew handles the horror when Mon Son Pi opens in local cinemas on October 29.
