iPhone 6 Plus: It bends!
If you are planning on buying Apple's big new iPhone 6 Plus, the good news is that reviewers say it is great. It has a beautiful design, great display, improved battery life and, of course, excellent software and applications.
In the past few days, however, users have discovered another feature that was not advertised and was not picked up by the reviewers. It bends, especially if you insist on cramming it into a tight pocket.
This is not totally surprising since the iPhone 6 Plus is a very big phone and its casing is made out of aluminum, a very flexible metal. Normally, the tough glass display helps maintain the phone's shape, but if there is too much stress on the phone, it will definitely bend. Worse yet, some users report the display may crack if you try to bend the phone back into its original shape.
"In the interest of science," Lewis Hilsenteger of Unbox Therapy made a video that clearly demonstrates the bending phenomenon. Fortunately, it takes quite a bit of pressure to do so. Watch.
