Beast of burden

Fairy tale gets an update
Did you know
Vanessa Hudgens used to date Zac Efron.
The new teen fantasy romance Beastly is a modern reworking of the classic fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast.
Kyle (Alex Pettyfer) is a spoiled 17-year-old, who despite being shallow and mean, is incredibly popular at his high school. Captivated and empowered by his own physical appearance, Kyle foolishly chooses Kendra (Mary Kate Olsen), a goth classmate rumoured to be a witch, as his latest target for humiliation. Unfazed by his cruel behaviour, Kendra decides to teach him a lesson by transforming him into somebody as ugly on the outside as he is on the inside.
Kyle then has one year to find somebody who can see past the surface and love him for who he really is, or he will remain looking beastly forever. His best chance to prove that love is never ugly may be an unassuming classmate that he had never previously noticed named Lindy (Vanessa Hudgens).

Catch the magic and romance when Beastly hits cinemas on March 17.
