This week's entertainment topics are...

CD review : Standing still
Buachompoo Ford
Not every artist can grow up to act their actual age. Buachompoo Ford is one of these artists. At 24 years old (although she looks younger), Buachompoo is still trying to cash in on her sweet teen looks. That was fine for her first two albums 2001s Buachompoo and 2002s Sunshine Day but as she grows older and, supposedly more experienced, music fans have the right to hear something new. Unfortunately, Beautiful Moment is really just more of the same.

Feature : Channel [V]s victor
You can catch Channel [V]s newest VJ, Ta, on the Jazz Up Your Life programme at 7:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday on Channel [V].

Gossip : Building a better Bond
Kylie Minogue, the possibly pregnant singer (see below) who once starred in Australian soap Neighbours (which also brought us Guy Pierce and Natalie Imbruglia) as well as appearing in the terrible Streetfighter movie has been tipped as the next Bond girl. The Internet Movie Database reports that Kylie is the number one choice, although who shell be playing against is a matter of confusion.

Feature : The ABCs of pop
With looks like the guys from F4 and the musical credentials of Jay Chou, Wang Lee Hom is the latest Taiwanese singer taking his turn as Asias pop sensation.

MTV Charts : This Week
1. Dont Make Me Love You
Buachompoo Ford

Up and coming movies : Movies and discs coming your way
Action/Thriller: THE PUNISHER (April 23, 2004) The story of undercover FBI agent, Frank Castle (Thomas Jane), a former Special Forces operative who is finally moving out of the field and into a desk job and a normal life with his wife and son. Then Castles world is shaken by a nightmare he has long feared: his family is executed as a repercussion from his final undercover assignment. He seeks to punish the murderers and finds the one thing he least expected a talking banana! Only joking. In fact, this is another movie based on a Marvel comic, so fans of Spider-Man, Daredevil, and so on will know what to expect.
