Action: TUBE (September 30, 2004) Maverick cop Jay (Kim Seok-hun) helps keep Seouls subway system crime-free. But terrorist T (Park Sang-min) and his crony hijack a train and threaten to blow it up unless their demands are met. Among the hostages are the mayor of Seoul, a news crew, various passengers and young pickpocket, Kay (Bae Du-na). Jay also manages to board the train in the nick of time. The police want to storm the train with guns blazing; the bureaucrats want to sweep the situation under the rug as quickly as possible; while the chief controller cares only about the safety of the passengers. But as the evil plans of T are gradually revealed and all other attempts to remedy the situation fail, all eyes turn to Jay (Korean).

Horror: EXORCIST: THE BEGINNING (September 30, 2004) Previewed in this issue.

Horror/Musical: FORMALIN MAN (September 30, 2004) A horror/musical? Never mind. In this Thai movie, Chatthong, the manager of a folk band, is facing a tough time. He has to find money to pay his debts and to save his band from being taken over. Unfortunately, Chatthong dies from a car crash before he can save the day. Sanor Chatthongs assistant is the only one who knows that his boss is dead. So, afraid of losing the precious band, Sanor keeps the secret by putting a preservative into Chatthongs body so he looks alive. Sick, twisted and set to music, this is bound to be a winner.

Comedy: DANNY DECKCHAIR (September 30, 2004)   Disgruntled with his life as a labourer in Sydney, Australia, Danny takes off literally by tying a bunch of balloons to a deckchair and ascending to the skies. His flight ends in the sleepy town of Clarence, where he unceremoniously lands in the garden of Glenda Lake (Miranda Otto). The naive townsfolk he encounters in Clarence prove to be a grand source of inspiration to Danny, and he proceeds to teach them how to live life to the fullest, while enjoying a passionate romance with Glenda. But Dannys past life is not totally behind him and when it catches up with him, his blissful new existence comes under serious threat.
