It’s 1974, and Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) has a crazy plan. He wants to suspend a wire between the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York and walk across it. The wire is 110 stories in the air and 60 metres long, and Philippe only has a pole to help him balance. If he trips, he will fall 400 metres to the ground.
As well as being extremely dangerous, his plan is illegal. His team have to sneak all their equipment past the security guards in both towers and set up the wire without being caught.
See if he succeeds when The Walk hits local cinemas on October 15.
