This week's entertainment
topics are...
Movies : Fantastic Voyage
A young boy lies awake in his room one snowy Christmas Eve, excited and alert. He's listening for a sound he's afraid that he might never hear the ringing bells of Santa's sleigh.
On Screen : MOVIES COMING YOUR WAY...
Comedy: ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY (November 11, 2004) Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) is the top-rated news anchorman in San Diego in the 1970s. When feminism marches into the newsroom in the form of Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), Ron is willing to play along at first as long as Veronica stays in her place, covering fashion shows, cooking and other female interests. But when Veronica steps behind the news desk, it's more than a battle between two perfectly coiffed anchor-persons... it's war. Rave reviews prompted many to speculate that Will Ferrell is the funniest man in the movies right now.
Music : Sound Check
Various Artists
R&B The Collection
Universal/BMG
With 20 tracks from some of today's hottest artists, R&B The Collection is a very good compilation. Justin Timberlake, Usher, Outkast, Alicia Keys, Macy Gray, Beyonce and Ashanti are just a few of the artists contributing their hits. Now these are all songs you've heard before, but it is nice to have them all in one place something any good compilation provides. I do have a couple of complaints, however.
Gossip : BRITNEY TO BOW OUT?
In a shock, horror move that will give music fans everywhere palpitations, Britney Spears has hinted that she may put her singing career on ice because she wants to have a baby (is she old enough?). Spears, who also claims she wants to change her surname to match new hubby Kevin Federline's, is quoted on her official website as saying that, Being married is great and I can't wait to start my family.
